TOMATO PASTE TRAINING IN CHARSADDA ON 5TH JULY, 2010. This year due to introduction of hybrid tomato varieties in the VOs of CMP-II project, the surplus production arrived. The farmers have sold 1st and 2nd quality produce in the market whereas the left over lot was not saleable. Therefore in a meeting VOs decided to provide them training for making value added product tomato paste. In this connection training was held at Charsadda and all the process was practically shown to community. Community took great interest in the activity.
